Diagnostic anti-Bovine Serum amyloid A (SAA) antibodies pairs and antigens for animal health (animal infectious disease ) testing in ELISA test, competitive ELISA test, blocking ELISA test, Lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA), colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay, Chemiluminescent immunoassay (CLIA), turbidimetric inhibition immuno assay (TINIA), and immunonephelometry
Catalog Number: GMP-AD-Ruminants-27
Definition of the disease: Serum amyloid A (SAA) proteins were originally identified as prominent acute phase serum reactants synthesized predominately by hepatocytes in response to infection, inflammation and trauma.
Genemedi produces core animal health diagnostic ingredients-validated antibodies pairs Mouse anti-Bovine Serum amyloid A (SAA) monoclonal antibodies and Bovine Serum amyloid A (SAA) antigens for rapid test kit of animal infectious disease with Bovine Serum amyloid A (SAA) to evaluate the animal health of Ruminants.
The paired antibodies are both monoclonal antibody(mab).
All the antibodies and antiges of animal disease test are suitable for in functional ELISA, and other immunoassays in dignostics. The antibody can act as a capture antibody and detection antibody. Antigens are validated as positive control materials.

Antigen description | Brucella ovis, a bacterium that circulates in sheep, is an economically important cause of epididymitis and reduced fertility in rams. Although this organism is also associated occasionally with abortions and increased perinatal mortality, its primary effect is on the male. Rams can become persistently infected, and transmit B. ovis to other males. Ewes are relatively resistant to infection, and if they become infected, clear the organism in a short time. Farmed red deer in New Zealand are the only other animals confirmed to be infected by B. ovis in nature. However, experimental infections have been reported in goats, bighorn sheep, white-tailed deer and pregnant cows, and there are a few reports of antibodies in goats. Cervids, goats and bighorn sheep sometimes developed epididymitis. Unlike most species of Brucella, B. ovis does not seem to infect humans. |
Purity | Purity: ≥95% (SDS-PAGE) |
Application | Paired antibody immunoassay validation in Sandwich ELISA, Lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA), and other immunoassays; |
