TRPML1/MCOLN1: Target/Biomarker Introduction, products summarized (antibody/ADC/bispecific/antigen/ORF vector/VLP) and disease/indication/condition/MOA for drug discovery and IVD
It's the GeneMedi's summary page for Target/Biomarker Introduction of TRPML1/MCOLN1. The page also collects GeneMedi's different modalities and formats products for TRPML1 in therapeutics/drug discovery and IVD diagnostics, which is including antibody, ADC, bispecific, antigen, ORF vector, VLP, etc. With GeneMedi's target-insight database-GM ITD database, the TRPML1 target is also connected to human indications/diseases/conditions/MOA.
Target sublocation: Transmembrane Protein.
This gene encodes a memberof the transient receptor potential (TRP) cation channel gene family. The transmembrane protein localizes to intracellular vesicular membranes including lysosomes, and functions in the late endocytic pathway and in the regulation of lysosomal exocytosis. The channel is permeable to Ca(2+), Fe(2+), Na(+), K(+), and H(+), and is modulated by changes in Ca(2+) concentration. Mutations in this gene result in mucolipidosis type IV.
