GeneMedi InflamOne™ Cytokines Flow Assays Panel (Multiplexed microsphere-based flow cytometric assays)
GeneMedi InflamOne™ Cytokines Flow Assays Panel is a reagent kit used for the simultaneous
detection of multiple levels of cytokines (cell signaling proteins). These products find wide
applications in biomedical research, clinical diagnostics, and drug development, among other
fields. Cytokines are a class of protein molecules produced by cells and used for communication
between cells, playing crucial roles in cell function, immune response, inflammatory processes,
tissue repair, and more.
Based on Multiplexed microsphere flow cytometric assays, GeneMedi InflamOne™ Cytokines Flow
Assays Panel is a commonly used method for the simultaneous detection of multiple cytokines. It
combines flow cytometry and fluorescent microsphere technologies, enabling the simultaneous
measurement of various cytokine levels and the labeling and classification of individual cells
on their surface. GeneMedi offers Multiplex Cytokine Assay Kits in large packaging, including
6-plex-1, 6-plex-2, 7-plex, 10-plex, and 12-plex assays.

Advantages of Multiplex Cytokine Assays (based on Flow Cytometry Fluorescent Microsphere)
1.High throughput: Simultaneously analyze multiple different cytokines in a single run.
2.Efficient sample utilization: A small aliquot of patient sample (blood or other bodily
fluids/tissues) can be used to simultaneously detect multiple physiological and pathological
indicators.
3.Strong specificity: Two laser beams are used to analyze hybridization signals (sensitivity)
and fluorescence colors on the latex microspheres (specificity). The lasers only analyze
information within a certain radius of the particles, ensuring high detection specificity and
low background noise.
4.High sensitivity and wide dynamic range.
5.Liquid-phase reactions: The microspheres remain suspended in the liquid phase for several
hours during the reaction, increasing the reaction surface area. The liquid environment helps
maintain the conformation of proteins, facilitating antigen-antibody binding, nucleic acid
hybridization, ligand-receptor interactions, and more.
6.Resource-saving: The technique is user-friendly, fast, and time-efficient.
7.Excellent reproducibility: When detecting cytokines using fluorescent microspheres, the
reproducibility can exceed 90%.
