Expanding further on the nature of D-Dimer in cattle, it is important to understand that D-Dimer molecules are not directly involved in the clotting process but are instead byproducts of fibrinolysis. Fibrinolysis is a natural process that breaks down and dissolves clots once the need for them has passed.
