GeneMedi Anti-FLAG Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (M2 epitope)

GeneMedi's Anti-FLAG Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (M2 epitope) is a high-quality, rigorously tested antibody specifically designed for accurate and efficient detection of FLAG-tagged proteins. Derived from mouse monoclonal sources, this antibody ensures high specificity and affinity towards FLAG epitope DYKDDDDK, a widely used tag in protein expression studies. GM’s anti-FLAG mab recognizes the same epitope as the M2 antibody.

Validation Data

GeneMedi's Anti-FLAG antibody demonstrates superior performance in immunoblot and FACS analysis

GeneMedi’s GMLS-Tag001-Ab-1 anti-FLAG Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (M2 epitope) demonstrates superior performance in western blot and FACS assays compared to other commercial antibodies from Company S or Company C. Its exceptional sensitivity is evident in its ability to detect lower amounts of loading protein and produce stronger imaging signals with equal protein loading, highlighting its enhanced detection capabilities. These features make it an ideal choice for applications involving the detection of low-abundance proteins in qualitative analysis.

Figure 1. GeneMedi’s GMLS-Tag001-Ab-1 anti-FLAG Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (M2 epitope) demonstrates superior performance in western blot and FACS assays.
A. Lane 1 contains cell lysate from untransfected 293T cells; lanes 2-5 contain 100 ng, 30 ng, 10 ng, and 3 ng of cell lysate from 293T cells transfected with a plasmid expressing engineered A protein-Flag. Immunoblot analysis was performed to detect A protein and Flag proteins.
B. Immunoblot analysis was conducted to detect Flag-tagged proteins. Lanes 1, 2, 4 and 6 contain cell lysates from 293T cells transfected with plasmids expressing proteins of different molecular weights. Lanes 3 and 5 contain control samples of 293T cell lysate without plasmid transfection.
C. A549 cells were transfected with a plasmid expressing engineered X protein-Flag. FACS was performed to detect Flag with control IgG, commercial Flag antibody and GMLS-Tag001-Ab-1.
