The target: P3H1, gene name: P3H1, also named as GROS1, LEPRE1, OI8. This gene encodes an enzyme that is a member of the collagen prolyl hydroxylase family. These enzymes are localized to the endoplasmic reticulum and their activity is required for proper collagen synthesis and assembly. Mutations in this gene are associated with osteogenesis imperfecta type VIII. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described. Other variants may exist, but their biological validity has not been determined. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2011].
About Gmab
GMab, developed by GeneMedi, constitutes an advanced library of recombinant monoclonal antibodies, each meticulously designed to target specific molecular entities. Leveraging the sophisticated capabilities of GM’s Taurus™ and LIBRA™ platforms, GMab synthesizes antibodies characterized by high binding affinity, exceptional physicochemical stability, and optimal developability profiles.
Through expression in mammalian cell lines, GMab has been established as a paradigmatic reference antibody. It holds significance in myriad domains of biological drug discovery, encompassing cellular cultivation, innovative assay methodologies, strategic animal model systematization, in-depth pharmacokinetic & pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling, and intricate mechanism of action (MOA) investigations.
